Meet Our Team
We are female-and minority-founded and led, college admission and educational path experts with over 200 years of collective experience across the globe.
Cogita, born from a collaboration between colleagues at Harvard University and Columbia University’s Teachers College, is proudly based in Cambridge, Massachusetts. Our mission is to guide students not only into their desired and fit schools, but also to foster a strong sense of self, excellence, and ethical engagement in a global context.
With a globally informed and culturally responsive approach, we help students and families redefine “success,” advocating for a humanistic education, particularly crucial in the admissions process where identity is too often tied to brand names and prestige.
Our team has supported students across international educational systems and competitive admissions landscapes, from the U.S. and U.K. to Canada, China, Singapore, South Korea, India, and beyond. Our diverse student body spans the globe, including families from Saudi Arabia, Colombia, Japan, France, Malaysia, Brazil, Egypt, and more.
